Every dollar can be taken from my pocket, but not my love and passion for farming – it’s the essence of my life!
Transforming our two-acre land into a multi-layered cropping system, with soil at the heart of growth, has been incredibly rewarding. Not in monetary terms, but for the sheer passion it ignites. Though being away from the farm is challenging, having a resilient farm family who remains steadfast in partnering with me to turn this dream into reality has been an incredible journey. I can proudly affirm that nothing can hinder you if you’re willing to pursue your dreams.
Allow me to share latest pictures of the various trees and their four journey on our farm.
- Four years ago, it was a land which had soil erosion issue (picture below is from 2020)
- We planted several agroforestry based trees saplings to enrich the soil and today we do not see any erosion (picture below is from May 2024)
- We’ve transformed our entire land into a multi-layer cropping system, yielding a rich tapestry of crops. Among the first fruits to grace our farm are coconut, mango, and black plum. And if you look closely, you’ll spot banana plants nestled in between—anticipate their fruiting in another five months!
